Location and Team
Beresfield — Onsite, Workshop-based with field service support predominantly in Sydney, Hunter Valley and Central West areas.

Make Your Impact
We are searching for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to assist with repairing and maintaining products delivered to the Service Centre and in customer operations. This is a workshop-based role with field service support in the specified regions.
Roster and benefits
* Monday through Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm roster
* Overtime available dependent on work demands
* All uniforms, tools and PPE provided
What You'll Do
* Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviours and contribute to a world-class safety culture.
* Strip, maintain, repair and report on customer pumps at the Beresfield Service Centre and at customer sites as required.
* Provide informed recommendations to enhance product performance, service quality and workshop processes.
* Support the implementation of the Weir Production System within the Rebuild Centre.
* Support mine shutdowns by attending customer sites when required.
What You'll Bring
* Certificate III – Mechanical Engineering / Fitting & Turning
* Experience in mechanical fitting in workshop and onsite environments
* Experience working on pumps, crushers, valves, conveyors and gearboxes (desirable)
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* High-risk forklift ticket (preferred)
* Overhead crane & dogger tickets (highly desirable)
* Current Driver's License
