Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic Engineering Technician specializing in Aircraft Electronics and Combat Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, constructing, and testing electronic equipment and associated circuitry, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Design and Build: Create, assemble and test electronic devices and circuits to meet technical specifications.Testing and Analysis: Use various testing equipment and methodologies to perform tests on electronic systems, gather and analyse data and assemble circuitry to ensure systems meet performance standards.Cost Estimation: Estimate material costs and quantities for projects. This includes sourcing materials, preparing cost estimates, and managing budgets.Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of equipment to ensure it meets required specifications and standards. This involves troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.Inspection and Compliance: Review designs and finished products to ensure they comply with specifications, drawings, contracts, and regulations to ensure all products meet industry standards and client requirements. Required Qualifications:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) with at least 12 months of relevant experience; or,3 years of relevant experience. Desired Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products.Experience with SAP Business One.Exposure to and understanding of AS9100 Quality Management Systems Standard.
