The Role
We are looking for a Full‑Time Administration Officer who will be based in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast working 40 hours between Monday and Friday.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct research and obtain quotes on behalf of Office Manager / Principal Engineer and wider team.
* Prepare, review, and manage high‑level correspondence, reports, and presentations with accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
* Manage document control and digital filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance across all business areas.
* Support the wider leadership team with administrative excellence, helping streamline systems and improve operational efficiency.
* Uphold a strong sense of discretion, reliability, and initiative at all times and representing the professionalism and integrity of the Northlane brand.
* Assist with social media coordination and website updates, and help coordinate events, birthdays, and team morale activities.
* Undertake typing duties for team members, prioritising work and always maintaining full confidentiality.
* Ensure timesheet template is updated regularly to reflect projects in financial control software.
* Adhere to Northlane Consulting Engineers Quality Management System.
About You
You're a natural organiser, problem‑solver, and strategic thinker. You see patterns, plan ahead, and execute with precision.
A proactive mindset, always looking ahead, identifying potential challenges, and solving them before they arise.
Outstanding organisational and time‑management skills, able to juggle multiple moving parts with calm efficiency.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact confidently across all levels of an organisation.
Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism, especially when dealing with sensitive business matters.
Experience within engineering, construction, or professional services is highly regarded.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Mandatory: Proficiency in MSOffice Suite and computer literacy.
* Must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
