Lyndoch Living is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Officer – Home Care to join our Finance Team based in Warrnambool. This role plays a vital part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations for our Home Care Packages, ensuring efficient processing, compliance, and accuracy across all transactions.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and update client Home Care Package statements, including income and expenditure transactions
- Liaise with external agencies such as Services Australia and Medicare to manage funding claims and queries
- Communicate with clients regarding balances, account matters, and unspent funds, ensuring transparency and compliance
- Collate and distribute monthly CDC (Consumer Directed Care) statements
- Process and code supplier invoices for home care services, ensuring alignment with authorisation protocols
- Reconcile income tested fees, daily care fees, client transactions and monthly ledgers
- Support the closure of care packages in accordance with government guidelines
- Assist with external audits and reporting
- Provide front-of-house finance assistance to clients and visitors at the Corporate Reception area
- Carry out general finance team support duties including filing, banking, data entry and administrative tasks
- Follow all Respect Health & Safety policies and workplace conduct guidelines
About You:
- Previous experience in a finance, accounting or administrative role (aged care or community services sector experience highly regarded)
- Strong numeracy and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, government bodies and internal stakeholders
- Familiar with online accounting systems and MS Excel
- A proactive and organised team player who thrives in a busy environment
