The Role
We are currently seeking a full-time experience and reliable Stonemason to join our growing team. This role involves working on a variety of projects using natural and engineered stone.
Key Responsibilities
* Cutting, shaping, and polishing different stone materials
* Reading plans and following detailed construction specifications to ensure precise execution of projects
* Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Work collaboratively with project managers to deliver exceptional results to clients
* Ensure a tidy and well-organised workspace while strictly following all safety protocols at all times.
* Provide training and mentorship to less experienced team members as needed
Requirements
* Qualified stonemason or proven industry experience
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
* Ability to interpret plans and follow instructions
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Desirable
* Knowledge of various stone types (bluestone, sandstone, granite, etc.)
