We are currently partnered a highly regarded NDIS Disability Provider that provides SIL services for adults with a range of disabilities and needs.

**What you need**:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Disability Support Worker
- Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant)
- Australian Driver's License (minimum P2)
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Medication Training (or willing to complete a course)
- Manual Handling Training (or willing to complete a course)
- Midazolam Training (highly regarded)
- Gastronomy (PEG Feeding) Training (highly regarded)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Reliable smart phone with data
**Overview of the role**:
- Provide day-to-day support adults living in SIL arrangements and help them improve their independence and achieve their goals.
- 24-hour care model, meaning staff are required to work a combination of shifts - morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), overnight (predominately sleep overs)
- Combination of short & long shifts (3 hour minimum)
- Assist participants with a range of personal activities including hygiene support, medication assistance, using manual handling equipment, domestic & meal assistance.
- Following specific positive behaviour support plans (PBSP)
- Assist participants with engaging in community, social and recreational activities.
- Support people within both group settings and 2-on-1 arrangements.
- Use a company van to transport participants to community-based outings.
