Offer description

We are seeking a dedicated experienced Legal Receptionist to join our team at Michael Dwyer Solicitor in Southport, Queensland. This full-time role is integral to the smooth running of our law firm, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting and welcoming clients, both in-person and on the phone, with a friendly and professional manner.
Handling incoming calls, emails and correspondence, and directing enquiries to the appropriate team member.
Scheduling appointments and managing the firm's calendar.
Providing general administrative support such as photocopying, filing, and document preparation.
Open and closing files.
Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area.
Assisting staff with various other office duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service-oriented role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and able to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook).
A professional, friendly, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A high level of discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
