Job Description
As a Kitchen Attendant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with food storage and preparation, including sorting deliveries, chopping produce, and preparing sauces.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining high hygiene standards and following safe food handling practices throughout the kitchen. This includes cleaning and sanitizing equipment, dishes, and work areas, as well as managing waste and recycling effectively.
Effective communication skills are essential for success in this role, as you will need to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with food storage and prep, including sorting deliveries, chopping produce, and preparing sauces
* Maintain high hygiene standards and follow safe food handling practices
* Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas; manage waste and recycling
Requirements
* Knowledge of HACCP and accredited Food Safety Training
* Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive team player with strong communication skills
* Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
