General Manager - IT Network, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure. Rare leadership role within the technology department responsible for creating and driving a world-class retail architecture for infrastructure (especially Cloud), network and security in a multi-brand, multi-channel Retail context. Job Description 
Responsibilities include leading the Network, Cyber and Infrastructure teams, developing employee knowledge and capability through coaching, mentoring and performance feedback, and establishing strategy and architecture to support Retail operations. 
Provide strong leadership and clear direction to the Network, Cyber and Infrastructure teams, developing employee knowledge and capability through coaching, mentoring and performance feedback 
Create and maintain a strategy and architecture for the environments that support the Retail operations, including: 
on-premise datacentre infrastructure from primary vendors Oracle, Cisco, Pure, Palo Alto, Dell 
engineering, digital and data environments based primarily on MS Azure 
identity management platforms (Azure Active Directory) for 15,000+ employees 
core retail network supporting 300+ stores, warehouses, offices and contact centres 
third party interfaces with strategic retail partners, such as Apple, Microsoft, Google, Sonos etc. 
telephony platforms for stores, contact centres and support office 
security platforms such as Splunk, Crowdstrike, Proofpoint, Wiz and others 
security processes and compliance activities under PCI and ISO27001 
Establish appropriate processes, management controls and oversight of operations and systems to ensure alignment of activities with core strategy, including: 
building strategic partnerships with key vendors and finding innovative solutions to business problems 
management of overall environment availability and resilience 
cyber-security posture/risk assessment and strategic plan 
twice annual cyber-security review with the Audit & Risk Committee (as appointed by the Board) 
management of large, commercially sensitive contracts 
Uplift the general capability of the organisation in order to meet the next wave of customer expectations in multi-channel retailing 
Manage key projects from business case to delivery in line with requirements ensuring a measurable return on investment 
Manage escalated concerns as required, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer issues 
Ensure third party providers' delivery meets established service level agreements, meeting both operational and security / privacy requirements 
Qualifications 
Relevant IT Degree or industry certification/experience 
Extensive experience in cyber-security standards, processes, architecture and relevant technologies 
Extensive experience in modern cloud architectures ideally with MS Azure 
Experience in identity management architectures especially with Active Directory 
Experience in large, distributed networks ideally in a Retail context 
Experience with vendor management, contract management, project management and stakeholder management up to executive and board level 
Some exposure / experience in datacentre operations with Unix systems
