About the Role
- Preparation of equipment, instruments and materials utilised in a variety of dental procedures including knowledge and understanding of the stages within a dental procedure and the ability to pre-plan and adapt as treatment proceeds and perform four-handed dentistry, chair-side assistance, and surgery management of stock.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn computer systems (ISOH), electronic records using FDI, Palmers Notation, dental specific language and terminology, and forensic charting.
- Provide general advice about personal oral hygiene, when requested by operator and reiterate pre
- and post-operative advice provided by operator.
- Ensure equipment and the surgery meet with the current infection control standards through utilising standard/universal precautions, preparation of disinfectants, decontamination procedures, utilise protocol for managing blood and body substance spills.
The Process
