Job Title: Claims and Injury Management Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage workers compensation claims in accordance with legislation and regulations.
This role involves ensuring compliance, delivering prompt and accurate benefits, and supporting injured team members through early intervention and return to work strategies.
You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to promote return to work, identify barriers, and implement effective solutions to improve outcomes and reduce costs.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity in a supportive team environment.
About the Role:
* Manage end-to-end operations of workers compensation claims, adhering to legislation and regulations.
* Collect and consider factual and medical information to support decision making.
* Liaise with treatment providers to ensure efficacious and cost-effective treatment.
* Calculate compensation entitlements and ensure team members receive correct payments.
* Work collaboratively to promote return to work, proactively identify barriers, and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes and reduce costs.
* Maintain proactive communication with injured team members, treating practitioners, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery and early return to work.
* Monitor and manage return to work progress to ensure issues are identified early and timely action is taken.
* Provide coaching and advice to site management to drive high levels of compliance with injury and claims procedures.
* Promote and support early intervention programs to maximise take-up rates.
* Maintain accurate claim and injury management records.
