The opportunity with us as Software Developer
Driven by recent success and growth, we are looking for a Software Developer to join our high-performing Digital Delivery Team. You may choose to be based in our Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, or Perth office for this role. In this role, you have the opportunity to utilise your software development skills and technical knowledge to develop custom applications and deliver revolutionary projects for our clients. This is an exciting position for you if you have a genuine passion for building innovational progressive web applications by using a broad range of modern full stack technologies to assist our clients achieve their strategic goals
As a Software Developer at Woolpert, you will be:
* Working as part of a development team in an agile environment to create, customise, and support full stack applications and services.
* Developing enhancements for existing geospatial applications, tools, and web services.
* Performing testing, troubleshooting, and functional evaluation to ensure product quality and release readiness.
* Conducting performance testing, tuning, usability testing and functional testing to meet quality objectives.
We're looking for someone who has:
* Tertiary qualifications, bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computing Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or Geomatics sciences.
* 2+ years commercial experience in web client, backend, or full stack application development.
* 1+ year of experience with geospatial technology or industry, ideally using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript and/or Python.
* Practical industry experience in use of jQuery, React, Vue, Angular,, Bootstrap, Material-UI.
Desirable experience or qualification:
* ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x) development and integration experience.
* Experience in building geospatial, 3D, or other web applications ideally using ArcGIS platform such as Maps SDKs for Game Engines.
* Certified Development on AWS or Azure.
