Introduction
Sinclair Dermatology is Victoria's largest dermatology practice, incorporating a specialist clinic with more than 15 specialists, a clinical trials unit, dermal and laser clinic and a hair salon. Sinclair Dermatology is a globally recognised medical centre headed by internationally renowned Dermatologist, Professor Rodney Sinclair. Our main office is conveniently located in East Melbourne with another centre in Pascoe Vale South & Parkville.
About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Manager to join the Sinclair Dermatology family! This role works closely with the CEO, head of departments, practice managers, and team leaders to deliver sound HR activities, processes, and advice across Sinclair Dermatology.
As the HR Manager, you will
* Coordinate with Managers to identify hiring needs and design and approve position descriptions (for new and existing employees)
* Create and design standard operating procedures
* Create, develop and refine site processes and develop new HR related forms and documentation
* Manage employee recruitment including job postings, shortlisting, phone screening, interview scheduling, reference checking and offer documentation
* Analyse current policies and the need for new policies and advise and provide guidance to the HR Coordinator on the creation, refinement and implementation of policies
* Review and approve newly created or amended policies
* Monitor developments in employment legislation and other regulatory regulations.
* Provide guidance and direction for all Employment Relations matters
* Lead any Employment Relations processes for Sinclair Dermatology including Employment Relations cases or Fair Work processes
* Ensure Fair work compliance, including fair work case resolution and manager or employee support
* Make recommendations to the CEO
* Implement the Annual Performance Review process on ELMO each year along with the HR Coordinator
* Implement, develop and manage performance improvement plans
* Support managers and employees through performance issues, including providing advice and support
* Develop and implement training for managers on key HR elements
* Implement the annual salary review process
* Analyse HR data to provide recommendations for improving HR practices
* Manage and mentor direct reports and the wider HR team
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in human resources and / or industrial relations
* Extensive experience managing complex situations in relation to dispute resolution, grievance and disciplinary processes
* Experience and expertise in interpretation of awards and agreements
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
* Capacity to work effectively with a diverse range of people
