About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team supporting Defence and Government clients. This is a key role in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of secure ICT environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance across systems.
* Perform system administration across Windows and/or Linux environments, including management of user accounts, permissions, and security groups through Active Directory and Azure AD.
* Conduct software and patch deployments, system backups, and recovery planning to maintain hardware, servers, and virtualised environments (e.g. VMware).
* Support incident response and troubleshooting within classified and secure networks, maintaining documentation including SOPs, system configurations, and change logs.
* Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes, including provisioning access and equipment, providing technical support to internal teams and clients as required.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant qualifications in IT or Systems Administration (Cert IV, Diploma or higher).
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in a System Administrator or similar technical support role, with experience working in secure or classified environments (Defence experience highly regarded).
* Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and system automation, knowledge of ISM/ACSC compliance, patching, and hardening practices preferred.
* Active or Reinstatable NV1 security clearance.
