Our client is a leading international manufacturer specialised in non-metallic Cable Management Systems used across industrial facilities, infrastructure, energy, transport, water treatment, chemical plants, datacentres, and complex building environments.

As part of its expansion in Australia, we are recruiting a technically minded and commercially driven Technical Promoter to accelerate market presence, develop the ecosystem, and drive product specification in major projects.
Your Mission
As Technical Promoter, you will represent the company in Australia and play a central role in promoting its innovative non-metallic cable management solutions. Combining technical understanding, market intelligence and consultative selling, you will:
- Drive specification and approvals with engineering consultants, owners, contractors and infrastructure players.
- Map the ecosystem (who is who) across projects and establish strong relationships with all decision-makers.
- Develop new opportunities based on technical standards, local requirements and market analysis.
- Support distributors and identify the most suitable channel partners to strengthen market presence.
- Ensure a consistent customer experience, providing high-quality guidance with fast responses (within one working day).
You will work closely with the International Sales Manager, who travels regularly to Australia and provides continuous training and support. One trip per year to Head Office in Spain is included for onboarding and technical development.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Ecosystem Development
- Analyse the Australian market: key sectors, distributors, competitors, local wiring rules (AS/NZS), and project stakeholders.
- Understand how market needs align with the companys values, technical strengths and product strategy. properties, corrosion resistance, and compliance with standards.
- Identify growth opportunities and contribute proactively to market development plans.
Technical Promotion & Project Specification
- Promote non-metallic cable management solutions to engineering firms, owners, consultants, contractors and distributors.
- Demonstrate technical advantages such as durability, insulation properties, corrosion resistance, and compliance with standards.
- Secure approvals, listings and technical specifications in engineering documents and tender packages.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships across the value chain (owners consultants contractors installers).
- Prepare and conduct meetings, both online and face-to-face, proactively engaging decision-makers.
- Provide reliable support and maintain a strong, ethical and professional reputation in the market.
Technical Understanding & Collaboration
- Gain solid working knowledge of wiring rules, installation standards and product suitability criteria.
- Coordinate closely with the Technical Support Engineer from HQ for complex technical evaluations.
- Participate in training sessions and collaborate with internal departments (Product, eBusiness & Marketing, Systems, Administration).
Organisation, Reporting & Leadership
- Register all activities in Salesforce and maintain consistent reporting.

- Act with autonomy, initiative and responsibility while working closely with the International Sales Manager.
Your Profile
Experience & Skills
- Background in engineering, technical sales, industrial equipment, electrical installations, mechanical systems or construction.Curious, rapid learner, with solid analytical thinking.
- 3-10+ years in B2B industrial or technical environments (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, automation, building materials, infrastructure).
- Comfortable with technical standards (AS/NZS), regulations and product-based value propositions.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to consultants, contractors and end-users.

Languages
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Spanish is a plus (not required)
