Heavy Diesel Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Technician to join our team in Brisbane. This is a great opportunity for a light motor vehicle mechanic looking to transition into the heavy diesel sector or for a heavy diesel technician wanting to enhance their skill set.
In this role, you will specialize in rebuilding high-horsepower engines. You will work on industry-leading engines in a world-class facility with state-of-the-art ergonomic equipment and tooling.
This position starts in the day shift (6am to 2pm) with a possibility to move to afternoon shift in future (2pm to 10pm).
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Remanufacturing high-quality, High Horsepower Diesel Engines for Mining customers
* Working as part of a highly skilled team to deliver 'As New' reconditioned engines using high-tech equipment
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reporting any issues/incidents to the Production Manager
* Completing required documentation, such as Safety Check Sheets, Process Quality Checks, Daily Time Sheets

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Demonstrated experience in engine assembly – heavy equipment is highly desirable
