Senior Electrical Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team, providing technical expertise in the design and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining, heavy industry, and industrial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage electrical components across all project phases, from feasibility studies to commissioning.
* Collaborate with engineers on diverse projects within resources, industrial, transportation, water, and buildings sectors.
* Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and contribute to workshare projects with metropolitan offices.
* Mentor and develop junior engineers, growing the team in size and capability.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
* Proven engineering/design experience in mining, local government, or heavy industry sectors.
* Experience in designing and specifying industrial systems, including HV/LV distribution, controls, and communications.
* Ability to produce engineering documentation, such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports, and scope of works.
