What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant provides expert clinical input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of the Southern Rural Emergency Nursing Exchange Program (RENIX).
The position will work in close collaboration with management and key stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate the project plan.
Selection Criteria
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing and at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and clinical leadership.
Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of clinical education programs.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Current unrestricted drivers' license and the ability to maintain.
Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires, including potential long distances and overnight stays.
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
This is a Category 'A' position.

All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy.
OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza for NSW staff who enter Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) or work in NSW Health RACFs.
