Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Providing social work supports to the SSS Workforce and to school-aged students to improve student learning;
* Working collaboratively with the education community to develop strategies for managing complex student behaviors;
* Assisting children and young people facing barriers to learning through strategies and specialised support.

Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Specialist expertise as a social worker with allied health experience;
* Communication, networking, and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the education community;
* Knowledge of child development principles and practices related to supporting children with complex needs;
* Ability to work from either our Bentleigh or Frankston office but move across Bayside as/when required;
* A commitment to providing high-quality support services to students and families.
