Your Opportunity
We are currently seeking two passionate and dedicated Recovery Case Workers to join our team within the Housing and Accommodation Support Initiative (HASI) Program.
Positions Available- 1 x Casual Position- 1 x Full-Time Fixed Term Contract - until 30 June 2026
The HASI Program is a collaborative initiative between NSW Health and Community Managed Organisations (CMOs), designed to provide holistic psychosocial support to adults aged 16 and over who live with severe mental illness. The goal of the program is to strengthen community-based support systems and promote sustainable recovery outcomes.
We currently have 1 casual position and 1 fixed-term full-time contract role until 30 June 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide support to consumers with their daily living skills and work alongside them to access the community and social activities.- Assist consumers and team members in the ongoing implementation of person-centered support plans through a range of varied activities.- Actively participate and contribute in team meetings, service planning days and internal and external supervision.- Support the program managers when required with various tasks in relation to the administration of the program- Assist in promotion and awareness of HASI by developing meaningful relationships with external services and stakeholders, families and significant others of the consumers.
Requirements for Success- Tertiary relevant qualification such as degree or a diploma or cert IV combined with significant relevant community service experience- Knowledge and understanding of recovery orientated practices- Strong communication and relationship building skills- A willingness to learn and develop your skills- Drivers' License without any restrictions
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
