We're looking for an experienced, empathic, and innovative **Community Manager **to join our team and empower our customers to live **their life, their way**.**
**As Community Manager**
you will be responsible for promoting Community Vision's **Your Life, Your Way;**_ _**our philosophy of person-centred care, whilst also supervising a team of Support Workers to deliver quality services to customers, their families and supporters.
Moreover, you be accountable for the engagement; through advocacy, education and information, of community stakeholders, funding agencies/bodies, and customers (existing and prospective), to increase customer numbers and substantiate levels of support for customers.
You will also work alongside our** **customers to make decisions about their lives that help them achieve their goals; no matter how big or small they are.
In particular, you will:
- ** help customers to live at home** **by assisting with mealtimes, medication, mobility, dressing, bathing, and other aspects of daily living.
- ** support customers to stay social** **by attending our Woodvale or Kingsley Social Centres.
- ** support customers to get out and about** **by transporting them to-and-from appointments, to the shops or even trips out with others.
- ** help customers in life** **by providing personal care, respite, or specialised nursing or allied heath supports.
**Our ideal Community Manager...**
will have leadership experience in a health, disability, aged or community service environment, with an understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards.
You will celebrate diversity and culture, promote wellness and reablement through positive relationship building, respect freedom of expression and the independent decision making of our customers.
You will also hold current:
- National Police Clearance (obtained within last six months)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- certification in Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID009)
- vaccinations for COVID-19 and Influenza
- WA Driver's Licence (or International Driver's Licence)
- comprehensive car insurance and registration
