PositionProfile
This position providesCommunity nursing and delivery of school health in accordance withSchool Level Agreements. Promotes and maintains collaborativerelationships with Department of Education and a multidisciplinaryteam.
To be successful youwill have:
* Eligibility forRegistration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursingand Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Evidenceof recent post graduate nursing experience with demonstratedadvanced nursing knowledge and skills.
* Demonstrated welldeveloped interpersonal skills and the ability to communicateacross a diverse spectrum of the population.
* Understanding of theprinciples of primary health care and the application tocommunity health service delivery.
* CurrentC class driver's licence and ability to travel within theregion as required including overnight stays. ACLS (orequivalent)

The Pilbara is WA'ssecond most northern region, defined by the Indian Ocean to thewest and the Northern Territory border to the east. The KimberleyRegion lies to its north across the Great Sandy Desert and thePilbara's southern reaches border the Midwest and Goldfieldsregions. The region covers a total area of 507,896sq km (includingoffshore islands). Most of the inhabitants are in the westernthird, whereas the eastern third is largely desert with fewinhabitants.
