About our role - We care about others
We are looking for a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Aged & Disability Services team across the Illawarra region. You will be responsible for empowering employees and participants in the improvement of their overall well-being by educating individuals on issues of social, physical, cultural, and environmental well-being. This role has a strong focus on early recognition and prompt intervention to assist individuals to achieve and maintain optimum levels of independence.
This is a casual position with varying hours per week. This position is classified under the Nurses Award 2020.

Our requirements to provide care
* Current Registration with the NSW Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and review Health Plans, Care Plans, and Advanced Health Care Plans.
* Demonstrated skills in educating and training individuals and teams in the provision of best practice clinical standards in a community setting.
* Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices as it relates to the new Aged Care Standards and the NDIS.
* Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and customer-focused skills with the ability to engage and build trust and rapport with a diverse range of people.
* A driver's licence with an insured vehicle.
* Employees are required to have received 3 doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine; or have been issued with a Medical Contraindication Certificate on the prescribed NSW Health form, exempting from vaccination.
