Human Resources Coordinator Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile and talented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team based at the Melbourne International Airport. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive range of high-level administrative and HR support to the senior management team within the southern region.

The role includes but is not restricted or limited to:

* Providing support to the HR Manager in the southern region, including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, industrial relations, performance management, learning and development, employee practices, policies, and procedures.
* Interpreting industrial instruments and assisting with employee relations matters.
* Providing effective administration support and preparing employment-related documentation.
* Working collaboratively with managers and senior staff to understand their business requirements and deliver HR and workforce strategies that meet long-term operational objectives.
* Maintaining accurate HRIS data and preparing regular reports and statistics.
* Actively participating in performance management and disciplinary processes as required.
* Providing support in relation to workers' compensation matters and assisting with return-to-work coordination as required.
* Coordinating training and development programs.
* Maintaining and managing HR records and employee databases.
* Assisting in preparing monthly reports.
* Providing support in implementing well-being and other HR initiatives.

Safety and Security: All employees are expected to take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* A relevant qualification in Human Resources or equivalent.
* At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Excellent skills in and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to adapt effectively to change.
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
* The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
* A self-starter, with a proactive approach and able to work in a fast-paced environment meeting strict deadlines.
* Demonstrated experience in providing timely responses with integrity and quality.
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external clients.
