A commercial, customer-facing role to manage, monitor and support Sagemcom's, and our client goals in the delivery of Smart Meters and Application software for existing and future accounts. You will join Sagemcom's local Smart Metering team in Melbourne, working closely with the local team, customers across Australia and NZ, and international company resources. Sagemcom is growing rapidly in Australia, a strategic region for Sagemcom.
About the Role
Account ownership & growth: Serve as primary commercial contact to develop multi‐threaded relationships (operations, engineering, procurement, finance) and create joint account plans with pipeline, risks, and mitigations.
Responsibilities
* Contract management: Lead end‐to‐end contract governance: SoW/PO tracking, variations/CRs, pricing indexes, milestone acceptance, warranty, and service credits.
* Ensure all deliverables, dependencies, and obligations are captured and reported through the contract calendar and risk register.
* Delivery & operational performance: Run regular operational forums and monthly steering committees with KPI/SLA and reporting packs (platform availability, data delivery, ticketing, incidents, release readiness).
* Work with the Sagemcom team to be familiar with metering supply, delivery readiness, and logistics with factory/partners; manage acceptance and traceability.
* KPI monitoring, analytics & reporting: Report on performance for, collection success, publication to MDM/MDMS, and SLA thresholds; publish monthly scorecards and improvement actions.
* Drive incident and problem management (root‐cause, corrective actions, post‐incident reviews) with trend analysis across the end‐to‐end AMI chain and trouble ticketing systems.
* Monitor and report LJF / ICN requirements for the Victorian Government.
* Financials & forecasting: Assist the team in forecasting bookings, revenue, and margins by contract; manage billing accuracy, indexation, true‐ups, and service credits.
* Build and track business cases for upsell/cross‐sell and for change requests.
* Governance, risk & compliance: Maintain contractual risk registers (technical, commercial, delivery), audit trails, and supplier performance reviews.
* Continuous improvement: Feed customer insights to Product/R&D for roadmap prioritization (firmware, FOTA/COTA, telemetry, diagnostics) and to Support for knowledge base content.
Qualifications
* Have 2 - 5 years account including contract management, in a role associated with the delivery of goods and services based on KPI performance.
* Excellent communication and documentation / reporting skills.
* Be familiar with contracts for large organisations, preferably with Government or utilities.
* Ideally be familiar with Victorian ICN - Local Jobs First based contracts and processes.
* Have a track record to track, monitor and follow up on issues and outstanding activities.
* Excellent customer communications and English skills.
* Attention to detail and follow up.
* Ability and willingness to travel occasionally within ANZ, and internationally.
* Proactive problem identifying and escalation / resolution.
