Role Details
Role: Senior Mine Planning Engineer Based in Broken Hill, you’ll join our underground mining team. What You’ll Be Doing Develop and optimise underground mine plans that are safe, efficient, and aligned with operational and long-term strategic goals. Collaborate closely with geology, technical services, and operations to ensure seamless integration of mine planning activities. Provide high-level technical input to support critical operational decision-making. Champion continuous improvement by introducing innovative planning solutions and best practice methodologies. Ensure all mine designs comply with statutory, safety, and environmental requirements. What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent). 5–10 years’ underground mine planning experience in complex operations. Strong proficiency in Vulcan and Deswik software. A demonstrated commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence. Why Join Perilya
