Key Responsibilities:
* Providing strong leadership and guidance to team members to implement operational plans and achieve business objectives
* Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
* Establishing a continuous improvement mindset to drive sustainability and consistency
* Guiding team members in developing marketing strategies and relationships with external providers
* Preparing budgetary forecasts for Home financial performance
* Exemplifying strong leadership and promoting development of team members through coaching and feedback
* Assuming a leadership role in workforce planning, including recruitment, leave management, succession planning, rostering, and performance management
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification/s in management or business (Desirable)
* Registered Nurse (Essential)
* Sound experience working in a senior capacity in aged or health care
* Demonstrated experience in operational management, human resources, people leadership & motivation, budgeting, service delivery
* Broad understanding of legislation, regulations, and requirements affecting aged care
* Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and motivation for staff involved in providing services to aged care residents
* Commercial acumen
* Demonstrated ability to empower staff to accept responsibility through effective guidance and support
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and remain highly motivated
* Excellent verbal and written communication style – able to communicate effectively at all levels
* Excellent computer skills and organizational software products
* High organizational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Solution focused – excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Valid working rights in Australia
* Complete a police check
* NDIS workers check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
