A busy aquatic and fitness facility is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Lifeguard to join the team. This role suits someone who is confident in supervising pool environments, maintaining high safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.
About the Role
You'll work alongside another lifeguard at all times (never in isolation) and support the safe, clean, and efficient operation of the aquatic and fitness areas. Duties include:
Conducting pool water testing and maintaining correct chemical levelsSupervising pool users and providing assistance when requiredCleaning the sauna, pool deck, and equipment during closure periodsOperating the pool vacuum and maintaining aquatic area cleanlinessAssisting customers with gym equipment setup when neededSkills & Experience
Minimum 6 months experience as a lifeguard or pool attendant - preferred but not essentialStrong focus on safety, cleanliness, and customer serviceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable and confident communicating with patronsMandatory Requirements
Australian CitizenValid First Aid CertificateWorking With Children CheckAquatic Pool Lifeguard CertificateCurrent Police Check (within 30 days) or willingness to obtainReliable transportLocation
