About the Role:
This role manages Ferrero's state-based customers across Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia, working with wholesalers and some P&C accounts. The primary goal is to drive sales to meet Ferrero's Point of Purchase (POP) objectives, including managing customer finances, distribution, category and shelf management, display, and promotional activities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as the central point of contact for clients, coordinating internally and externally, and support internal teams in managing distributor and retail networks nationally.
* Oversee financial management, forecasts, and provide solutions for key accounts.
* Implement the annual Account Plan and contribute to the national plan, aligning strategies.
* Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities, managing clash calendars and measuring campaign effectiveness.
* Monitor retail and promotional pricing, client performance within channels, and ensure adherence to commercial guidelines.
* Provide commercial insights to support account and category strategies.
* Contribute to achieving state sales budgets by brand and manage trade spend, including reporting and business plan development.
* Identify growth opportunities and develop client relationships.
* Monitor client performance, identify gaps, and optimize distribution and promotional activities.
* Support negotiations and develop strategies for assigned clients.
* Plan and launch new product developments (NPD) within wholesale and retail channels, and prepare category reviews.
* Maintain strong client relationships according to commercial policies.
* Ensure budget compliance, manage claims with finance, and support business activation initiatives.
Who we are looking for:
* University degree.
* Relevant FMCG experience, especially with independents preferred.
* Strong business acumen, with knowledge of channel and customer planning, logistics, sales, and merchandising.
* Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Analytical mindset, results-oriented, multi-tasking, and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective time management and adaptability.
* Team player capable of cross-functional collaboration.
* Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
