We are a full-service family law firm with offices in Victoria and New South Wales and are continuing to grow.
About the role
As a vital part of our growing team in Melbourne, you will work closely with the local senior solicitor as well as having the opportunity to work with the broader national team.
You will get to demonstrate your family law skills and experience by:
providing advice and representation to clients in parenting and property matters;
drafting legal documents including correspondence and court documents;
appearing at the FCFCOA; and
appearing at mediation and settlement conferences.
The role is based at Melbourne Law School, offers flexible work arrangements and operates on a hybrid model.
About you
If you have 2-6 years' experience in family law, a pragmatic approach, and believe that cost should not be a barrier to high-quality legal representation, then Wallumatta Legal might be the firm for you.
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
between 2 to 6 years post admission experience.
experience in providing advice and representing clients across a broad range of family law issues (including property and parenting matters).
experience in attending court and briefing Counsel.
excellent written and verbal communication skills.
well-developed organisation and time management skills.
strong attention to detail.
a desire to broaden your network.
the ability to work both within a team and autonomously, and
the desire to make a positive impact.
