About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Theatre Orderly to join our hospital team on a part time basis with a minimum 20 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday flexible roster.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Provide safe transfer, handling and positioning of patients to and from the operating theatre
Ensure theatres are cleaned between surgical cases
Assist with stock management and maintain awareness of cost control
Ensure equipment is available as requested
About You
You have a genuine passion for providing world-class customer service and patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
Experience in a similar role within a hospital setting
Knowledge and understanding of lifting, positioning and transferring techniques using available equipment
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of infection control principles
Ability to prioritise and coordinate work to meet patient and customer needs
