These include the renown Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses and an exciting new Lactose free range.We're looking for a warm, proactive, and people‐centred leader to guide our site maintenance team, apprentices, and contractors. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who values collaboration, enjoys helping others grow, and is committed to creating a safe, reliable, and high‐quality working environment.**Key Responsibilities*** Support, mentor, and empower the maintenance team to achieve their best* Thoughtfully plan and coordinate scheduled shutdowns to ensure smooth and considerate delivery* Build strong, positive relationships across departments to enable seamless daily operations* Provide clear and organised work schedules, along with ongoing coaching and encouragement* Role‐model a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement**About You*** Mechanical or Electrical trade/engineering qualification* Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments, ideally with people‐leadership responsibilities* A strong understanding of manufacturing equipment with a solutions‐focused approach to troubleshooting* A collaborative leadership style, with a passion for developing and uplifting others* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust and foster inclusive working relationships**Bega Group Story**Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
