Payroll Officer Needed, Gov Client, 6-Month Contract, Excellent Opportunity
Your new company
You will be responsible for the end‐to‐end payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services for the organisation. Working within a supportive HR team, you will manage payroll processing, reporting, and provide advice to internal stakeholders.
Your new role
* Process end‐to‐end payroll including remuneration, leave, terminations and timesheets
* Complete monthly consolidations, payroll reconciliations and group tax obligations
* Ensure payroll compliance with legislation and internal policies
* Perform internal payroll audits and contribute to process improvements
* Deliver timely payroll advice to staff and managers
* Maintain accurate payroll reporting and monthly data reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated end‐to‐end payroll processing experience
* Experience using payroll systems
* Strong payroll reporting capability
* Background in HR administration
* High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Customer‐focused approach
* Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
* Strong document management capabilities
