Key Responsibilities
Full‑function bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll, quarterly superannuation obligations, bank, credit card and balance‑sheet reconciliations, preparation and review of IAS and BAS, reviewing bookkeeping work completed by junior staff, conducting software training for clients (Xero / QuickBooks), meeting with clients and maintaining strong working relationships, supporting client onboarding and workflow improvements, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion of tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 3+ years' experience in public practice (or similar), strong proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks Online, experience with BAS / IAS preparation and review, solid understanding of payroll and superannuation requirements, excellent reconciliations and problem‑solving ability, high attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
