Join a highly respected and longstanding mining operation in stunning North West QLD.
Your New Role
You'll join the Project Team delivering the Camp Comms Upgrade, transforming accommodation rooms from traditional key locks to modern swipe‐card access. The project is expected to run for approximately three months, with potential for extension, operating on an 8/6 dayshift roster.
Travel options include DIDO from Cloncurry or Mt Isa, or FIFO from Townsville or Cairns.
Responsibilities
* Assist electricians with daily tasks and onsite project activities.
* Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas.
* Perform general labouring duties such as digging, sweeping, tidying, and preparing work zones.
* Support the safe and efficient progress of the comms upgrade project.
What you'll Need to Succeed
* Manual driver's license.
* Previous trade assistant experience in the mining industry (preferred).
* The ability to work both independently and in a team.
* Ability to pass a police check and mine site medical, including D&A, off‐siding electricians or comms tech.
