About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated, career‑focused Foreman / 3IC to lead a dedicated turf team and support the senior course team in delivering consistently top‑tier playing conditions.
Responsibilities
* Lead a dedicated turf team, fostering teamwork and productivity
* Troubleshoot course and maintenance issues quickly and effectively
* Maintain clear communication and uphold high professional standards
* Ensure compliance with WHS and Environmental regulations
* Manage pest and disease control, working towards consistently top‑tier playing conditions
Qualifications
Must‑have qualities
* Proven leadership and team‑building skills
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Punctual, proactive, and professional work ethic
* Working knowledge of WHS, Environmental regulations, and turf pest/disease management
Highly valued experience
* Golf course construction or irrigation installation
* Managing small work teams
* Experience with couchgrass playing surfaces and bentgrass putting greens
* Familiarity with Sydney's climate and its unique challenges
