Child Care Attendant – Schools, Sydney
Location: Sydney (various school sites)
Hours: 32 hours per week, 7:00 am–9:30 am & 2:30 pm–6:00 pm (minimum 2–3 afternoons weekly)
Pay: $26 per hour (detailed discussion during interview)
Contract: 3–6 month trial with option to continue
Responsibilities
* Encourage children to be active, learn, play, and participate in fun, safe activities
* Support primary school children during Before and After School Care (OSHC) sessions
* Assist in planning and delivering varied activities (creative, dramatic, sports, cooking, storytelling)
* Collaborate with other educators and leaders to maintain a nurturing, supportive environment
* Attend paid training, induction and ongoing mentoring sessions
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience or passion for working with children (experience not essential)
* Positive, can‐do attitude and capacity to work as part of a team
* Flexible and hard‐working; ability to work at multiple locations during the week
* Minimum 2–3 afternoons per week availability
* Working with Children Check
* Valid Working Holiday Visa
* First Aid in an education and care setting (desirable)
