We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales to join Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park. This is not just a management role — it’s an opportunity for a true sales hunter to win new business, grow market share, and position our property as a top destination for corporate, group, and leisure clients. 
You will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving aggressive sales strategies, forging current partnerships, and ensuring Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park achieves and exceeds commercial targets. 
Key Responsibilities 
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with a hunter mindset 
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to maximize revenue 
- Build strong corporate and group networks across Melbourne and beyond 
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts to achieve ambitious sales goals 
- Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure brand alignment 
- Partner with the General Manager and hotel leadership to shape market positioning 
About You 
We want a passionate sales leader and hunter who thrives on results. You are: 
- Experienced in hotel sales, with proven ability to win new business 
- A confident negotiator with strong presentation and closing skills 
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and driven to exceed revenue targets 
- Skilled at building long-term client relationships and networks
