We are seeking a seasoned BC Developer to join an Australian-based technology company delivering innovative cloud-based SaaS solutions built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure platforms.
Location
We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our client's Product Development team in a permanent full-time capacity. This is a remote working role that requires you to be located in major cities in Australia or New Zealand (NZ) ideal locations are Adelaide (SA), Perth (WA), or Melbourne (VIC).
Focus
This role plays a key part in the ongoing enhancement and innovation of our enterprise-grade cloud solution.
As a Senior Developer, you will design and develop solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical outcomes. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, managing complex and challenging development projects.
Strong technical expertise, analytical ability, and clear communication—both written and verbal—are essential for success in this role.
Key Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central development
- Proficiency in C/AL and AL programming languages, .NET Framework, Visual Studio Code, GIT, Azure DevOps, React/Angular, and SQL Server
- Experience with Power BI, PowerApps, and related Microsoft technologies
- Strong understanding of integration concepts with third-party systems
- Proven ability to collaborate with business analysts to convert functional requirements into effective technical solutions
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Commitment to writing reusable and scalable code
- Demonstrated ability to research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated, proactive learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
