Key Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
* About the Job:
The key role of this position is to offer commercial support and ensure that all tasks are completed according to the contract requirements. The objective is to achieve high standards and meet the expectations of our clients.
1. Main Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and accurate reporting on costs and value at both project and business levels.
* Oversee cost management including forecasting and managing budgets.
* Be responsible for updating CVR, cost and commercial plans and work in collaboration with the team to achieve commercial goals and strategy.
* Process Management:
* Ensure that all commercial processes are followed consistently across the organization.
* Regularly evaluate and seek to improve existing procedures.
* Client and Team Relationships:
* Ensure that contracts entered have suitable terms and conditions and identify potential risks.
* Maintain strong client relationships.
* Team Leadership:
* Support the management of the commercial team.
* Foster effective communication between the commercial team and site operational teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
* Prior experience working in the civil engineering industry.
* Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as NEC3 or NEC4.
