The Department of Transport and Main Roads is seeking a Temporary Project Manager for a short-term opportunity, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and successful delivery of projects through effective program and project management methodologies.
* Drive the development and publication of documentation in collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
* Develop project schedules and governance arrangements, acting as editor-in-chief for final wording.
* Consult, liaise, influence, and negotiate with team members and stakeholders to support agreed outcomes.
* Manage project activities in accordance with plans to ensure tasks are delivered on time.
* Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic and operational risk using mitigation strategies.
* Present briefings, workshops, and training sessions to managers and staff.
* Provide expert advice to the Program Director.
