Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Boilermaker, based in Toowoomba, QLD. The Boilermaker will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures. Key tasks include welding using various techniques, interpreting shop drawings, and operating tools and machinery required for metal fabrication. The role requires precise work to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard, in alignment with safety protocols and company quality standards.
Qualifications
* Experience in welding techniques such as MIG Welding and Oxy-acetylene
* Proficiency in Reading shop drawings to interpret technical and architectural designs
* Skills in Metal Fabrication and operating tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal
* Strong understanding of safety practices and standards in an industrial environment
* Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines
* Trade qualification or equivalent certification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or related field is preferred
* Previous experience in structural steel manufacturing is required.
