Overview
A highly successful Australian deep tech company has an immediate need for a talented machine learning engineer with experience in AI, algorithm development, and signal processing. The role will focus on data wrangling and training/implementation of AI / ML models; algorithm prototyping, evaluation and implementation; and optimising the processing and evaluation of real-time data from sophisticated sensor systems.
Base pay range
A$150,000.00/yr - A$170,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Data wrangling and training/implementation of AI/ML models
- Algorithm prototyping, evaluation and implementation
- Optimising the processing and evaluation of real-time data from sophisticated sensor systems
- Design elegant solutions to complex engineering problems
Qualifications
- Robust machine learning background
- Python for ML and algorithm development
- Experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Some signal processing exposure
- Australian citizenship (classified technology)
- Optional: implementing algorithms in C++
- Experience in radar, radio telescopy, sonar, image processing, acoustics or biomedical signal processing would be helpful
