About the Role
Countryside Medical Centre is seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our small, friendly team in Bairnsdale, Victoria. We're opening a new rural GP clinic, and this is your chance to help shape how we care for our community, design workflows, and build a warm, welcoming practice culture from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
* Provide patient-centred, compassionate, and efficient care in a friendly, supportive environment
* RNs: Lead chronic disease management, care plans, immunisations, and wound care
* ENs: Deliver basic patient care, assessments, and clinical support
* Work together as a small, collaborative team, with overlapping roles as needed to ensure smooth, high-quality care
* Assist doctors with patient examinations and procedures
* Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
* Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols
What We're Looking For
* RN or EN with current AHPRA registration
* Experience in general practice, community health, or medical clinics
* Nurses who are compassionate, patient-focused, and efficient, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Excited by the opportunity to help shape a new clinic and contribute to its development
* Midwifery experience is welcomed, with opportunity to work alongside our GP obstetricians in women's health care
* Immunisation experience is preferred but not mandatory for RN applicants
