Design Manager – Mineral Processing

Location: Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Roster: Monday to Friday, office-based.

Report directly to the Engineering Manager across EPCM project phases. Drives protected, compliant and high-quality design outcomes across global projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-discipline engineering and drafting teams delivering mineral processing projects.
• Manage multi-discipline design team performance.
• Approve drawings, standards and specifications.
• Develop design schedules and man-hour budgets.
• Facilitate design reviews across project phases.
• Oversee vendor documentation and interface coordination.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in relevant discipline.
• Strong mineral processing project experience.
• Experience across EPCM project delivery.
• Proven leadership of design teams.
• Knowledge of Australian and international standards.
