We are looking for a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our small team. This role is ideal for a recently qualified carpenter looking to hone in and perfect their carpentry skill set, particularly in renovation work. You will be an important part of a small team, where quality over quantity is a key value. You will be working with an apprentice, and leading hand carpenter. Must have ability to work alone, and in a team. Must be motivated, active, and driven to achieve and improve. Must have own tools and transport.
Key Responsibilities
* Work productively in a small team producing quality workmanship.
* Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
* Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, fix-out, and finishing work.
* Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised worksite.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
* Residential renovations experience preferred.
* Excellent knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* A valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
* White Card (Construction Induction Card).
