Associate / Senior Associate Lawyer – Banking & Finance (Securitisation & Structured Finance) - Melbourne/Sydney
Background
* Associate (Sydney/Melbourne) or Senior Associate (Sydney only)
Our client has a market-leading Banking and Finance practice advising on high-impact debt capital markets, securitisation and structured finance transactions for major domestic and international banks and financial institutions.
The role
* Advising on a broad range of securitisation, debt capital markets, derivatives and structured products matters.
* Drafting and negotiating complex finance documentation and delivering commercially focused legal advice.
* Working directly with clients and collaborating across offices and practice groups on cross-border matters.
* Contributing to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the practice.
About you
* Qualified lawyer with solid banking and finance experience, ideally with exposure to securitisation, structured finance, debt capital markets or broader leveraged/acquisition finance.
* 1-4 PAE for Associate, 5+ PAE for Senior Associate
* Strong technical skills with the ability to draft clearly and think commercially.
* Confident communicator who enjoys working closely with clients and as part of a high-performing team.
* Motivated to build a long-term career with an eye on international exposure down the track.
* The team are also open to Commonwealth-qualified lawyers and Australian returners looking to re-establish themselves in the local market.
