We are seeking a compassionate and committed Educational & Developmental Psychologist or Senior Social Worker to join our Wellbeing & Engagement Team at a Specialist School P–12. As part of a purpose-driven, trauma-informed school community, you will be instrumental in shaping a safe, inclusive environment where every learner can flourish.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, families, and staff to provide therapeutic assessments, interventions, and support. This role requires a deep understanding of social/emotional and cognitive disabilities, as well as the ability to navigate complex trauma.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* A strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture and values, with an awareness of current issues affecting Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
* Expertise in practice relevant to working with students and families who have experienced complex trauma.
* A well-developed understanding of social/emotional and cognitive disabilities, with the ability to assist others in understanding their implications.
