Head of Department – Technology – Western Cape College – Weipa
We are looking for a dedicated and collaborative leader to join our dynamic leadership team at the Weipa Secondary Campus as Head of Department (Technology).
The successful candidate will take key responsibility for the curriculum delivery in all our Technology subjects, serve as RTO Manager, and manage the activities of students and teachers in line with the College's vision and values.
Relocation expenses may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Subsidised departmental accommodation is available for eligible applicants, and remote incentives apply.
The Position
As Head of Department, you will develop the quality of teaching and learning, foster a positive culture, and implement strategic practices to achieve positive student learning outcomes, all while ensuring high standards for staff and student performance.

* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
* Set high standards for student and staff performance.
* Undertake the School RTO manager role.

Qualifications & Requirements
Strong knowledge and capacity to lead the implementation of both the Australian Curriculum and the QCAA curriculum in Technology. Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with all stakeholders.
