Joint Clinical Facilitator - Clinical Nurse Educator — Armidale Hospital. Office-hours role (no shift work) based onsite, 30 hours per week, temporary part time until September 2026. About the Role
You'll coordinate, deliver, and evaluate clinical education for undergraduate nursing students. You'll work closely with Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs), Nursing Managers, and university partners to facilitate student learning through regular check-ins, debriefs, and hands-on guidance across multiple wards and clinical areas. Your role supports student competency assessment, continuous improvement, and the promotion of professional growth and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate clinical education for undergraduate nursing students.
Collaborate with CNEs, Nursing Managers, and university partners to facilitate learning.
Provide regular check-ins, debriefs, and hands-on guidance across multiple wards and clinical areas.
Assess clinical competencies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Promote a culture of professional growth and clinical excellence.
About You
You're a compassionate and confident Registered Nurse with a passion for education and mentoring. You're approachable, demonstrate emotional intelligence, have strong communication skills, and work well in a collaborative, dynamic team. You're organized and proactive, ready to share knowledge and support diverse learners.
Requirements
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Holds relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications and clinical experience deemed appropriate
